"Two major building expansion projects were undertaken, with the Capital Cost of $200 million, to increase the capacity of the facilities. The first was the East Concourse Expansion (and Hotel) that was completed in 1999 and the second was the East Chevron Expansion that opened to the public on May 1, 2000. Both projects were very successful and were completed on time, under budget and of the highest quality. The centerpiece of the East Chevron Expansion was a thematic area called Pacific Passage Way; it contains a west coast scene including trees, rocks, a beach, and Native artworks.
The Vancouver International Airport Project Team has been very pleased with panther management and the professional manner in which they and all their personnel have managed this challenging project. panther management is a very knowledgeable organization and they were very creative in their approach to this project. They were open, cooperative, fair, and honest in discussions on scope and pricing.
