DAVID JAMES

Director

Patient and innovative, David James has produced creative illusions for over 30 years. His enviable leadership skills and his understanding of the potential of cutting edge technologies allow his team to keep the brilliance of your ideas within the project confines. David’s comprehension of complex creative endeavours is derived from his work in the theatrical and entertainment worlds, where he served as the Technical Director and Production Manager for such productions as Sunset Boulevard. His talents have also helped to bring to life productions featuring U2 and the Rolling Stones.

David brings life to a simple spark of imagination. With that seed of imagination grows the magic of thrilling human experience. His background creating themed attractions, exhibits and live entertainment events stretches back over three decades and enables him to pinpoint the elements required to build a well visited, much enjoyed pavilion experience. Not only identifying these elements, David creates strong teams to further manage these details because, as we all know, the quality lies in the details. With meticulous planning, execution and tracking, problems can be forecasted and even better yet, avoided. With the wisdom that comes from experience, David is able to maximize a budget and keep a project schedule on track.

Brian Low

Director

Brian Low approaches projects with a commitment to excellence. His work in the technical, logistical and financial areas have helped form the solid foundation from which panther has grown. Through his experience in operations and project management, Brian has developed highly effective systems and procedures for managing projects. He has a thorough grasp of the “big picture” and the tracking and budgeting systems he has developed are based on the highest industry standards. Brian’s respect for design and his remarkable ability to produce results on time and within budget have enabled him to consistently bring our client’s vision to reality.

BRIAN ROCHE

President

Brian Roche brings a wealth of experience to the Panther team. He has tackled virtually every aspect of construction including overseeing all aspects of the site selection, financial analysis, design, development, construction and close-out of numerous development projects in addition to sourcing, administering and managing consulting contracts, while managing relations with outside contractors, consultants, city officials and vendors.

ROZANNE KIPNES

Associate

Having over 25 years of Real Estate Development experience, Rozanne Kipnes understands the real estate industry, its opportunities and constraints. She brings energy and expertise that facilitates conversion from ‘highest and best use’ options, into valuable and profitable properties.

Rozanne has held positions as Director of Commercial Real Estate Development and Construction (BC and the Pacific North West) for Wesbild Holdings Ltd. and subsequently joined Future Shop Ltd. as Director of Real Estate Development, Construction and Facilities Management. She has continued to serve the Real Estate industry as an independent Development Consultant for over 9 years while balancing the acquisition and management of her own real estate portfolio.

Graham Hicks

Technical Producer

Graham brings a diverse range of experience to the team. Over a 13-year career in concert and theatrical technical management, he has built strong skills in project development, budgeting, communications, scheduling, site management and technical coordination, as well as international touring experience. Graham’s creativity and total commitment to each project allow him to consistently produce high-quality events under pressure, on time and on budget

Scott Weber

Video Producer

Scott has directed and produced large format fi lms, ride fi lm attractions and special venue productions for museums, science centers and theme parks.

His feature fi lm, Desolation Sound, starring Jennifer Beals and Ed Begley Jr. and narrative short fi lms have received many accolades including six Leo Awards and nominations for both a Directors Guild of Canada Award and a Genie Award.

Kirk Walker

Video Producer

Kirk has been in fi lm and television production for over 15 years in everything from live broadcasting to documentaries. His experience includes producing, writing and directing, as well as many years in the trenches as production manager and camera operator. His technical aptitude and keen sense of storytelling has been essential in the design, production and installation of many of Vista’s past projects. Kirk’s personal mantra is to create the most exciting and intriguing experience possible for guests.

Meror Krayenhoff

Energy Systems Technologist

Meror Krayenhoff has honed his credentials as an environmental builder over the last 30 years. As the inventor, developer and patent creator of SIREWALL (Stabilized, Insulated Rammed Earth), he won numerous awards with the Canadian Home Builders Association including 13 Gold CARE’s and six Gold Georgies including “Best Homebuilder in BC”.
With awareness of environmental issues and demand for building alternatives on the rise, Meror foresees that SIREWALL has potential to become a global standard for healthy, efficient homes and buildings.

Duane Fast

Graphics Production

Duane Fast has headed up Artcraft Display Graphics Inc. for the past quarter century. Under his stewardship the small print shop founded in 1965 has grown to become an international supplier of environmentally friendly graphics for museums, parks, zoos, aquariums, science centers and themed attractions.
Duane is a Director for the International Geoparks Committee, the organization for UNESCO Geoparks as well as a Director for the National Association for Interpretation International Section, the world organization for interpretive studies in museums and parks. Duane is also the Chair of International Marketing for the Themed Attraction Association of Canada; Canada’s association for museums, parks, zoos, aquariums, science centres and other themed attractions.

Marc Chan

Technical Consultant

Marc Chan will oversee the system integration of all video equipment, co-ordinate all applicable production and installation services and will be the technical liaison with Beijing local service providers. Marc is part of a team that for over 14 years has offered state of the art equipment, production services and creative visual programming to clients around the world.
